How can I tell if my 2007 Ford Taurus SE is equipped to accept remote key entry?

You could always call the Ford Customer Service Center, number in manual. They will ask you for your VIN and can tell you if the car came with that option. I was not so lucky, my car didn't come with the control module needed. So had to add it myself.
