Stereo wiring trouble

I have a sony xplod cd player that I want to install
in a 2000 Honda accord. The problem is that the
wire's colors don't match. The cd player has the
wire's plugged in and then the wire's are cut. Then
the plug from the car don't fit in the cd player. I was
wondering if it's possible to cut the plug off from
the car and just wire them back together. Thanks
for any help and advice.

Go get the wiring harness specific for your car it will plug into your car on one side. The other side will have wires coming that will match the colors of the wires from the radio
