Trouble starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trouble starting my ford ranger. When I try
to start it just clicks once. Jumped it so I
know it can't be not enough juice, I can get
the ignition to turn to the on position so I
assume there's nothing wrong with ignition
switch. Any advice?

Literally just moved the shifter through gears and straightened the wheel and it started up. Thanks for the help ATM
