I have a 2000 Honda Civic Lx and as soon as i apply my brakes the car seems to shake a little. Also the check engine light came on and the muffler is making a screeching shaking noise.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the spark plugs and the distributor rotor and the car is still shaking a little bit. I used the diagnostic and it said that there is 3 misfires in the cylinders. Some people  told me to get a new distributor box and it will fix it but i honestly don't know.
