why won't my 2000 Honda Civic start

I parked my Honda Civic and the next morning it would not start-it turned over very
sluggishly-but wouldn't start,so bought a new battery-that was not the problem.Can
anyone help please?

could be your starter or your alternator. make sure you battery has a good charge then try it again. if you get a good couple turn overs out of it i would check the core pack. if your core pack has gone bad your car will turn over but want start because its not getting any fire to the plugs

My 2000 Honda wants to start. But not turning over. Smell gas. Battery good, starter good, altenater good. So what can it be?
