Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently replaced the intake gaskets on the vehicle. prior to this, the vehicle ran fine until the gaskets were replaced. now the engine has a loud knocking noise and light tapping. sounds like a lifter or a loose rod in the engine.

No, because I covered up the valley upon taking off the lower intake and ports while cleaning up around the gasket seatings.
