Replaced Battery and alternator, any suggestions where to go next?

Asked by Brandi Oct 31, 2020 at 08:08 PM about the 1999 Honda Accord DX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter was on her way home from work the other day
and the car just shut off. I came and jumped it, started up
fine, but once removing the cables it would just shut down
again. Have replaced alternator and battery, it will start and
run for about 20 minutes but then shuts down again and
won't crank back up without a jump. After replacing those 2
things I am lost at what to do next. Any suggestions?
