I have a 1999 honda cr v and the car starts to stumble the engine sounds like it's over accelerated and I have to keep pressing the gas pedle till it stops doing it what can it be

it could be that you need a tune up or a vacuum leak could also be the rotor in the distributer cap. those would be the easiest fixes

Is the check engine light on? Have you had the car checked for any stored trouble codes? It could be a number of things, so best to start with a check for codes.
