Question type: Maintenance & Repair

hi,
i have a 99 v6 accord. sometimes when i turn it on, it goes off again. rpm drops right to zero. i thought bad sparks so i replaced spark plugs. same thing. it doesn't happen all the time. let's say once every two days. i am checking online and some says it is iac valve. i did clean the EGR valve 6 months a ago with the throtle. i wish i had done the iac valve too. not sure if it is iac valve. any idea? thanks for the responds in advance.

My 96 Honda Accord does the same thing. And it doesn't idle smoothly all the time. I have been told it's the idle control valve. Also the idle port and around throttle needs to be cleaned. But if it needs a Throttle package (I.A.C.), I've been told the cost is $806.23 to $823. That's why I haven't had it fixed.
