Making my car better

Asked by Arphinieus Jun 09, 2016 at 01:52 PM about the 1999 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Car Customization

So I'm new to the car scene, and I really love my 99'
4 door Honda accord. I'm wanting to increase the
performance, whether that be changing my engine,
and everything or just a simple trick. I'm wanting to
do this so I can fall in love with my car all over
again.

No need for a new engine, the car the car is 17 years old, you can put a new chip to increase horse power, a new muffler system will sound cool and increase horse power.

LOOK at all Dyno testing before wasting money on marketing tricks!...A cold air kit INTAKE along with and free flowing EXHAUST and a "Chip" will add approx 20 - 25 hp CAN YOU SAY WASTE..$$ 3.0 SOHC vtec is nothing like DOHC vtec like found in b16's b18's h22's. If you want more power out of that engine plan to spend close to $1k and not even hit 235hp. DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST. Regards
