Recalls are for safety issues. make an appointment at a AC shop to check your van out. In the meantime you can contact your Dodge dealer to find out if your van has any outstanding recalls.
call a dodge garage and ask if there is an extended warranty. in older models specifically 2006 there was an extended warranty placed on the rear AC evaporator so a dodge garage would do the repair under that.
