Hey guys it's me again...
Can anyone here help
me? I absolutely cannot
get a strait answer!  I
need a front passenger
side axle in a desperate
knd of way. It snapped
in middle of the bar. It
sitting here has caused
me to lose my job so I'm
gonna have to try to fix
it myself with very little
to spend so I'm having
to look in junk yards. I
can't find one but Also
can't find out if another
year will work either and
I'm about to scream
(literally). I have a 1999
Honda Civic ex,
4cylinder, manual
trans,4door,has abs
brakes(I keep having to
clarify). I'm thinking the
abs will only be a dash
light issue as I'm use to
driving old hotrods and
know not to slam the
brakes. Please chime in!

You can get a remanufactured axle from local parts store for less than $80. Putting in an unknown condition axle from the junk yard can lead to more headaches.

I'm a widow and do not like asking anyone for help. I can, somehow, usually do everything that has to be done. Might take me a lot longer but I'm in there. I don't want anyone to feel like they Have to help me or for people to think i Can't do something (because i can ) However this axle problem that about sent me over the edge also created a "Moment" of "Hello, is anyone home" for me!‍♀️ Apparently my 25yr old son read this post I made here. I answered the phone and my son said "What's up with your car mom?"I said "nothing son I'm good", he said "well then you better go take that post down on cargurus then." So I proceeded to tell him what happened and where I was at this point. The "moment" came when he said "well why didn't you tell somebody? I have brand new axles to fit your car in my building that I bought from this guy at work last year because he needed some money to pay some bills." ‍♀️ I have no words to this day... He knew I would not let him help me replace it, so he just brought the axle to me. ‍♀️16 hours later I pulled up in his driveway and handed him the broken one. Thanks son, You never truly understand the value of a "Moment" until it's right there!! Thanks Cargurus for being bringing me the answer to my car problem
