Recently went to the dealership in the hopes of upgrading cars,(Have been driving my 1990 honda for almost 5 yrs now)the only problems is that the one I saw was a 1998 honda with 150k miles which is weird because my 1990 honda accord only has 137k, whats the average age of a 1998 honda and should I be considering another dealership

You might want to look around. The average driver puts 15000 to 20000 miles a year. (I dont know what average is, I drive a heck of alot more than that) so for a 98 to have 150k is average (10 years old times 15000-20000= 150 000 to 200 000 miles). So if it was me I would keep looking or I would keep driving the one I have. Best of luck, hope this helps.

Yes, years ago average mileage was 10,000-12,000 per year, and most leased vehicles still use this as the mileage cap if they were considered a "low mileage" lease. Mileage seems to have increased slightly and depending on your area of the country and proximity to jobs and services it may be higher or lower. I would keep looking.
15-20K?!? Do you live next door to work? The average driver puts 33-35K on their car annually. You can expect a well running '98 Honda to have upwards of 500K, if not closer to 750K
