Can a 1997 honda accord 2.2 vtec engine fit in a 1998 honda accord that currently has a basic 2.2 engine

Asked by TREY98ACCORD Nov 05, 2011 at 03:04 PM about the 1998 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Car Customization

I JUST WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT VTEC IN MY 1998 ACCORD.
They make the 3.0 for the 98 accord, but its still not a vtec.
SHOULD I STICK WITH MODS ON THE REGULAR 2.2???...
COULD I DO THE SWAP WITH A 1997 2.2 VTEC???...
OR WOULD GETTING A 3.0 AND ADDING MODS BE MORE BENEFICIAL???...
