That is usually a synchro problem inside the transmission, but first check the gear lube level, condition of the fluid and see if there is any metal in the fluid. If there is metal, then you know a transmission overhaul is in your future.
Is it a V6 or 4 cylinder? Does it grind or just not go? Does your clutch disengage all the way?
