Volkswagen Passat driverside window buttons not working

Asked by Jhgil158 Aug 24, 2019 at 10:20 PM about the 2003 Volkswagen Passat GLS 1.8T

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced my window regulator on the
driverside and as I began to put the door
back together I connected the wiring to make
sure to window was working properly to find
that none of the buttons for any of the
windows are working on the driver side
panel. I think I wired it up back up properly as
the lock buttons on the panel still work
properly just not any of the window buttons.
Any suggestions what may be the problem?

Either the switch or the wiring, or possible the fuse. Did you remove the negative battery cable before the work and after you plugged the switch in? If not, the fuse could have tripped.
