Liquid dripping?

I recently notice a dripping sound
on the rear driver side of my 2000
Ford contour. Above tire or by the
exhaust. Sounds like a liquid
dripping on to metal. Like a ting
sound. It started within the last
two days. At first I could see a
liquid falling on the driveway.
Looked and felt like water and
had no smell to it. Now no liquid
falls on the ground but can hear it
drip when you first turn the car
off.  Any clue what this might be?
