Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving down the road and engineand and
battery died suddenly. Then pulled over
and put it in park. I tried to start it again but
it does absolutely nothing no clicking or
lights. Would wait a while and try again and
it would start then start putting and die
again. Battery Is only 6 months old if that.
Went back after work and barely jumped it
and car stared fine and drove fine 15 miles
home. Did it just die and need charged?
Alternator? ??

I'm going to say you need a new alternator, but before you change it get a good deep charge on the battery and try to drive it to Auto Zone they will do a free load check on the alternator.
