yes other wise the car won't work. be sure to grab the keys as well. Other wise two seperate cars will work but you will need to recode it to the computer. Is there nay particular reason you are planng to replace these parts ?

The car was a salvage title. The previous owner changed the computer and it doesn’t match the car. Trying to put proper parts back in. So as long as I recode key and computer to match each other I should be ok ?

yep it should work alot of the much older cars had security built into the dash cluster not sure if they still do that but if you can get that as well maybe a good idea if its not to much trouble other wise just grab the keys and cross your fingers hehe if you do have to relink the key tho its like 120$ here in canada tho i think that should work regardless
