can you put a v-tech cylinder head on a non v-tech engine

i have a cracked cylinder head and i ordered another which i thought was rebuilt but only
used but he says (mechanic) says its a v-tech and the rocker assembly isnt the same,
will it still work or is it compatable with mine? mine also is a P2J-5, the new one says
P2J-2 on it.

The head will mount to your,s but,the valve,s are not the same,and will more than likely hit the piston,because they are longer,don,t put this on your,s it will kill the new head,and hurt the piston,s,,,go find the proper head.
