I am thinking about buying a 98 honda odyssey everything is a dream on it perfect condition but has 287k miles. Does anyone know how long these last and what problems they have at this high miles

I had a 1995 and sold it at 400k. AC was not working but generally the engine was good. If u have the service history and it's good... U probably can hack it. Also, depends on the sale price. Otherwise go for the 2002 up. No tranny issues there

Recommend having it checked by a mechanic. Good luck with it. My 2000 is on her 4th tranny, but at 190,000 she is riding better than ever.

Just sold my 02 when she was at 260k. I was lucky. Original tranny. Just moved to 05. Sweet van. Love the Odysseys. I'm on my 3rd ... Used all the generations up to 05. Love them. Inspect it and make a decision
