When my AC is on my car bogs down and tries to die what is it

When I turn my AC on and when the compressor
kicks in it tries to make my car die like when I
come to a light I will have to turn the AC off or it
will die

Your alternator can't keep the engines demand for power when your AC compressor kicks on. If you have excessive devices like inverters, subs, amps, unhook them or upgrade your alternator. If you not, then you have a bad alternator

Sir im sure its your aicv.when you turn ac on and rpm drops consider to clean or replace aicv.coz when you put load to the engine which is the ac.aicv should adjust the idle when ac on.trust me its all in the air intake control valve.

Too much freon . I did this to my 98 civic . If u put a gauge on it the needle will jump around like crazy
