Hyundai Accent Not Idling

Asked by Reptilius Jul 30, 2019 at 05:16 AM about the 2012 Hyundai Accent GL Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently did an engine overhaul on my 2012 Hyundai Accent, it starts and runs perfectly. While the engine is not at operating temperature and the choke is closed it idles perfectly, once the engine reaches operating temperature, it will not idle. When I run the Aircon however, it idles perfectly at operating temperature. What could the problem be? Can it be a vacuum leak and the Choke or Aircon use in which revs are picked up slightly are overcoming the vacuum leak. Their is also a slight fluctuation when it does idle.
