I have a Honda Civic 96 DX with about
158,000 miles me an my grandfather just
changed the water pump, timing belt an spark
plugs. I have also put new trans fluid in as well
cause the bih was empty. But what I want to
know is why my car is having such a hard
time going over 60 on drive 4 but on drive 3
the pedal is lighter an easier to push. Btw my
care before the water pump an everything was
moving fine at drive 4 (light pedal).

Is it a manual or automatic trans? You said the case was empty? You can't drive the car without fluid in the transmission, you will burn the clutches. I suspect you and your grandfather are going to be rebuilding or replacing the transmission next.
