It is possible, that is called the MINI ME conversion. If you look online specially honda-tech you can see that people do this conversion alot. You MUST also resurface the head and also have the machine shop make sure it is still use able.

I have actually see quit a bit about the mini conversion, but they all swap full heads, what I'm wanting to do is just swap the internals, ie. cam and valves from the warped vtech head into the non vtech head, I've already pulled the cam out of the non vtech head and didn't really want to go any further until I found out for sure if this would work. I know that I will have to get the frost plug out of the side of the head where the vtech solenoid goes, but do I still need to have it machined?
