WHAT COULD BE WRONG WHEN i PUT MY PASSPORT IN 4 WHEEL DRIVE THE MAIN FRONT AXLE WILL ENGAGE BUT THE TWO SMALL AXLES COMMING OUT OF THE FRONT CHUNK ARE NOT ENGAGING.aLSO THE 4X4 INDICATOR LIGHT WILL NOT COME ON BUT IT DOES WORK CAUSE IT COMES ON WHEN i TURN THE SWITCH ON TO START IT.i PUT IT ON A RACK AND PUT IT IN FOUR WHEEL DRIVE.iT WILL SHIFT INTO ALL THE GEARS WITH THE 4X4 SHIFTER,4l,4h,AND 2h.lIKE i SAID THE FRONT AXLE COMMING OUT OF THE TRANS.WILL ENGAGE JUST FINE BUT THE TWO SMALL SHAFTS COMMING OUT OF THE FRONT HUB ARE NOT ENGAGING,NOR WILL THE 4X4 LIGHT COME ON.

Sounds like a axle. Or the gears on the inside. Sounds like you need to pull the cover off the axle and do some exploratory surgery.
