95 Honda Civic starter won't Crank

Asked by Elizabeth0696 Aug 10, 2016 at 04:04 AM about the 1995 Honda Civic EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 95 honda civic and my starter won't
crank...I had this problem before months back but I
used to give my starter a few hits or I try to start it
over and over until it finally did and after that I
didn't have any problems for another five months
until now that it came back again out of nowhere
and now I can't get to crank at all no matter what I
do.
What could be wrong with my starter?

First check the wires that connect to the starter and they should connect to your battery. If they look fine then either your battery is getting old or the starter. It might be the starter, because it worked before , at that time it getting weak but at least it had enough power to crank the engine. Now after 5 months it will be too weak to crank the engine.
