2011 KIA Rondo EX oem CD Player glitch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2011 KIA Rondo EX mini wagon with an original radio single CD
player unit.  Bought it used with a lot of km use (now 220,000km).  The CD
player part of the unit is faulty.  It often will not eject a CD and the motor
hums that way when ever its repowered,  At times it flashes up Error code 1,
3 and 5.  But rarely it runs and plays OK.  I have line on an identical bench
repaired one from a 2011 Rio.  It' d be nice to know what these codes
mean.  I think its possibly toast maybe.  The owner manual does not say
what codes are and its pages & photos describe a different player.  Is there
a Kia Mobis website that lists and defines the player unit error codes?  A
new replacement from Kia would cost half what the used car cost!!

Try this before giving up: remove the whole CD player unit from vehicle and take it to any TV/AUDIO Technician or TV/Audio electronic repair shop. there they may be able to replace or repair any faulty/malfunctioning electronic component on main board/circuit. Thanks.
