Poor heat and bottom hose not hot

Asked by Drew Nov 09, 2017 at 12:03 PM about the 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck not over heating, actuators seem to work
fine, coolant level great, no leaks, heater fan works,
radiator fan works, water pump works,
The heat is cool but not cold and the bottom
radiator hose is cold
Is it the thermostat?

You might need a new thermostat. Make sure you "burp" the system while you are at it.
