Stability system disable

Why is my brake light on and the stsbility system disabled.

Something is wrong with the brakes. Check the fluid level in the master cylinder. Top it off and keep an eye on it. If it goes down again something is leaking and needs to be looked at by a professional. The stability system light is on because that system works with your brakes. Since there's a problem with the brakes, hence the brake warning light is on, the stability system is disabled until the brakes are fixed. Jim
