Asked by Ben Oct 07, 2020 at 02:54 PM about the 2006 Kia Sedona EX Power

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When driving my van soon as i hit 25 mph i get a hop or
bounce in my rear end. Its not the tires or the bushings or
the wheel bearings, i can't seem to figure it out. Can
someone give me more idea's or places to check

I checked them they seem fine. Not loose, but I'll check them again today. Anyone else have a idea? I dont have the money to oder the struts. Or have it inspected.

Have you inspected your rear coil springs? I've had a loud rattle in the rear suspension of our 2006 Sedona LX, whenever going over bumps, and when I had it at the Kia dealer a few months ago (to have a recall performed), they informed me one of my rear coil springs was broken. It could also be a loose or defective shock (2006 Sedonas have shocks in the rear, not struts).
