Audi turbo

Asked by Davis1891 Jun 16, 2018 at 10:46 PM about the 2011 Audi A4 2.0T quattro AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys, I have a 2011 Audi A4 quattro.
My turbo went out a few months ago, and the dealership
quoted us 5000$ to replace/repair. However, a buddy of
mine who's much more mechanically inclined than i,
suggested that a Volkswagen turbo should fit and would be
significantly cheaper.
Could this work?

Get a quote from an independent German shop. You need the correct part but the cost is not even close to 5 grand.

actualy .. the shop is correct at the dealer a turbo replacment is expensive. If your going to spend any sort of money tho go for a custom turbo it will last longer and function better then the crap they give you at the dealer.
