With the lack of info supplied, maybe the flasher is on federal assistance. No need to work.

If your turn signal indicator is blinking in the instrument panel but you have no light in the rear you have a bad bulb. if you are getting nothing at all it is your flasher can. If you are getting a high rate pulse of the turn signals and you are getting nothing at the lights then your flasher can/ flasher relay is bad and you have to replace the bulbs. TIP: check and see if your hazards work, they should have an independent flasher can/relay, doing this will help you identify if the turn signal filament (the thing that actually creates light) is bad. This is a pretty general guide to flasher diangostics on ALL VEHICLES. I fix my own car and other peoples cars, and my father was a mechanic for 18 yrs. i think i covered all you need to know. Oh btw, with most vehicles the flasher can is in the fuse box but i know that my girlfriends 2010 ford explorer does not have them in the fuse box (find where the clicking noise is coming from because that is the can/relay) i am fixing her Found On Road Dead F.O.R.D. turn signals, her can is bad and it blew out the rear filament that is her brake lights on both sides, Good job ford, great design
The flasher is under the steering wheel on the left side Ones I have seen are large and yellow, blue or black. To get at it is easier if you remove lower plastic and metal panel behind plastic one. I think there are smaller related relays under the hood in a large fuse box on operators side.
at first it blinked real fast changed bulbs same thing. i put in a new flasher fast blinking on front went to normal. but rear turning and emergency light still doesn't blink
@Stanthaman what if it’s just one of the lights doesn’t work and a fast rate but other signal and haz work?
