93 Honda Accord

Asked by Mandi May 27, 2016 at 12:10 PM about the 1993 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 93 Honda accord keeps shutting off while
driving. Replaced tons of parts does fun on cool
days but the hotter it is outside the more it shuts
off.

Check the distributor, not the cap, the distributor. http://homeandauto.ldsdates.com/2010/12/10/di agnosing-and-fixing-a-failed-ignitor-on-93-honda- accord/

Check the igniter in distributor and go ahead and replace pgmfi relay. It controls everything you've replaced. Igniter does burn out in distributor.
