Radiator Fan motors

Asked by GuruBG2B7 Jan 29, 2019 at 08:07 PM about the 1993 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There are two Radiator fan motors in my 1993 Honda Accord LX. Can I buy the
same motors for both side?  Or is there a specific motor for the left and right?
Or Driver and passenger side?

You should take the old motor with you. My info shows "left" and "right" in the descriptions. There are also two manufacturers, Nippondenso and Mitsuba. And remember, "left" means driver's side. Many times if the motor is not burned out, it may simply need lubrication with a synthetic oil. Bearing dry out first, motor burns out later.
