2000 explorer limited rear wiper only works when i manually pull up on the arm could this be a bearing or alignment problem?

rear wiper motor is probably corroded or at its end-of-life. If its installed too tightly or has some crud between the washer / mount, you can unmount it and give it a good cleaning, add some grease to the threads.
