the car has been sitting for a year. it started and ran for 15 minutes now won't restart.

I have put In fresh gas.  have spark, fuel pump works well.  checked fuses.
tried starting fluid, I could use some ideas.

Hmm, just like the "Spruce Goose"??? Well, at least you know the engine isn't shot... I suspect it's a fuel delivery problem..... but, you really need to have it evaluated by a mechanic... UNLESS you think you can diagnose it... If it were an electronic ignition problem, the car would not start or run for 15 minutes... Despite the fact that you think that the fuel pump is OK... I still think there's an issue with that, maybe a clogged filter or distressed fuel pump...

I had a 1995 Honda Accord ...one other thing is maybe your computer is starting to fail.... good luck.

Also, letting your car sit around for an entire YEAR before starting it is NEVER a good idea...

I disconnected the fuel line, turned on the key fuel flowed . there was a box for a new filter in the trunk. the computer supposedly was replaced. I just got it. so letting is sit was not my idea.
