Car parts

Asked by ManydoorsZachboy May 29, 2019 at 04:42 AM about the 1992 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my friend wants to sell me his 1992 Honda
Accord lx or whatever ( I don’t know the exact
model) for 300$ It has a couple of minor issues,
but the biggest one I’m concerned about is, the
transmission is messed up. I’ve been looking
around and I found a transmission for a ‘94 Honda
Accord for around 300$, would it work for the car?
I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for a car
just yet.

@LX30215 Thank you, I am just curious because I just graduated and need a car to begin my adult life. My grandparents agreed to match the money I put down as well as co-sign for a better working car so I thought I’d just give my friend the benefit of the doubt instead of just telling him off.
