well if you can find an automatic engine you are one up on the rest of the planet,, if you are really talking about the transmission, go to the scrap yard and spend about 500 bucks and do it yourself

yea first your going to wanna find a junk yard that has a 1991 5 speed accord and then when you do u will need to get everything off it like all the clutch lines, clutch pedal, tranny, shift linkage, and make sure keep every little bolt, nut, everything cuz it sucks when u dont have everything u need

Yeah, those 2 answers are stupid! Find a good mechanic and pay to have someone replace it. Someone reputable. Replacing a transmission is definately NOT an easy job to do. There's a reason people pay for mechanics!

no need to change the engine just few parts of transmission (gear box) will work it would b better if u refer to your mechanic
