Going back to my previous questions, which i got much help I stil can't get my 1990 Honda Civic 2 door Hatchback started after replacing the fuel pump, fuel tank, new relay fuse and completing a tune up. The check engine came on but no shops have a OBO 1 code reader to check it and the factory wants to charge me $120.00 just to check it. Please help

nobody has an obd1... wow check out local trade schools, they usually have the older tech kicking around might have something to read it for you
you can get the code off the computer. there is a light that flashes. It will pause between codes long and between numbers of codes short. So it would flash twice, then short pause, then 4 times, to show code 24. after it would have a longer pause letting you know what the next code is. That will get you the code and give you a place to start. Good luck
There is a blue plug with 2 wires under the dash on the passangers side. Use a jumper wire on that plug, to check the flashes. You tube is a good place to see how to do it.
codes wont always tell you what you need, a scanner can give you real time info
Hondas have a very simple ecu set up, the codes will tell you what ever your problem is. All i work on is hondas and i know them very well. i will add a pic of the plug the jummer wire goes in. you can get the codes off google
