Oil Pump

Asked by Frank Jun 01, 2018 at 01:38 AM about the 2006 Hyundai Sonata GL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My sonata was making a ticking sound my
friend looked at it and told me it’s not
pumping oil he sent me to get all pumped I
called Napa Advance Auto Parts O’Reilly
auto parts and AutoZone they all said the
same thing we don’t carry it and none of
our vendors have it.  So they said you’re
probably going to have to get it at a
dealerShip  so I go to the Hyundai
dealership and tell him I like to order oil
pump for a 2006 Hyundai sonata 2.4 for
saunter after about five minutes of looking
he tells me the scar don’t have an old pop
how the hell was that possible or should I
say if it’s true how does a pump oil ?

Before changing oil pump try this it worked for me when I thought I needed a new oil pump. Change oil then ad some Lucas Engine Oil Stabilizer to oil now it may or may not work for you but it is worth a try. My vehicle had to set and idle for about 45 minutes to an hour before ticking went away.
