Car revs high.
So I bought a throttle body cleaner and on the side of the
can it told me to take off my entire air intake system and
turn on the car and have someone press the gas pedal to
move the flap so cleaner can get in. I tried to turn the car on
but it started for around 2 secs then stalled out I tried it
again and the same thing happened so i just manual
pushed the flap with my fingers and cleaned it. I put
everything back together and started the car. it revved 500-
1000 more then it usually does and when I put it in Drive it
doesn't crawl, it feels like I'm pushing the gas a bit. And the
throttle is very laggy I push the gas then let go but the revs
still stay at position for around 2 secs then they go back
down slowly.
Is this because my MAF sensor didn't sense any airflow
when I took off the intake and turned on the car and now
it's overcompensating for it ? How do I fix it ?
