removing arm rest in order to install car seat covers

Doesn't sound like you will be using the tool after you complete your seat cover work, so just buy a cheap set of drivers or a couple of individual ones and get the job done.
I was looking for an answer, taver. Please look up answer in google or your dictionary (if you have one)
Again, as Kamala Harris would say... "It's a simple question, please feel free to answer it correctly"
or, if you can't, then I recommend you try some other question you actually know the answer for, or maybe some other forum where your knowledge base actually is a "knowledge" base. In short, try to resist answering questions and wasting everyone's time...unless you actually understand the question and have a valid answer for it. Thanks mate
So... does anyone know what size torx the armrest bolt on a 2009 sv6 Montana van is?
Wow, these are some really angry responses when all I suggested is buying the size you want by getting a $10 set that covers the range you are looking for. GM doors could have Torx heads on the door between T30 and T50. Good luck with your repair but cut out the anger.
No anger whatsoever, Taver. Oddly, when someone speaks straight at you in a critical manner, it seems much like anger... especially in text. I was simply saying what many people would think, I hope in an entertaining manner, when they have to read through many posts/emails of people who don't have the answer to their question, but have truckloads of unsolicited advice. For your edification, I have hunted around town for a set of torx, the least expensive set being over $15, less tax. Only one of two sets I found in over 3 hrs of store hopping. A local building supplier has individual bits, but they are over $7 each, so I'm trying to keep the cost down to $7 by asking the world if anyone knows what size the armrest bolts are. Otherwise, I could purchase 2, then have to purchase another one, or even two. And I'm not willing to spend $15 to $30 for oversized bits I will probably never use, except the one. And, that one is the target size I'm asking about in the next post...
Does anyone know what size torx the bolts in a 2009 Pontiac Montana armrest are?
Did you ever get a strait answer? I would like to know what size also?
