Turn signals

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m stumped with this one!

The front passenger turn signal is the only one that works, but it blinks fast.

I have checked all fuses and they work fine.
I have replaced all the bulbs. They come on but will not blink. The turn signal
switch will turn off when the turn is complete even though the lights do not
flash.

The 4 way emergency lights do not work either.

Any help on this one. I’m at a dead end.

Thank you

Ed Thank you for your help on this. I did have a bad headlight socket that I had to cut off and replace. The turn signals still didn’t work after I fixed that. The passenger front bulb blinks 2 x at normal speed and then fast. The turn indicators in the car on the dash do flash but not the other outside lights. I checked the fuses under the hood and under the dash on passenger side. There are 2 of them and are fine. Are there other fuses for turn signals? I’ve googled and looked for a relay for the turn signals can you please tell me more about it?

As Ed92626 said, you need to replace your flasher (relay). Easy to do and a cheap $5 part. They are usually located either in a fuse panel or clipped to a structural member under your dash (parts store can help you with this).
