Low beam headlights went out on my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire

I was driving home from work last night and I was
just turning onto my road and my headlights went
out and the service light came on. What could it
possibly be? I took it to the local parts store in
town and they ran a diagnostics and everything
came back fine.

Most likely you need new headlight bulbs

Okay so I got the headlight bulbs replaced but didn't fix the problem. I went to turn on my headlights and they would stay on for like a second and then cut off. What could be the problem this time?
