03 montana doesn't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Ok so here it is. I have a 2003 pontiac montana. When I
bought it is had to replace the window switches as they
were shot. About a week into owning it the alternator went
out and the dealership replaced it. I then had to replace the
fuel pump because the common issue of fuel level sensor
not working happened. Now I was driving a couple months
ago the van out of no where putters like twice then just
dies. All electrical is fine but the motor just stops. Now I've
had it pulled to my house and I have replaced the fuel relay.
Put the old working pump back in to see if it worked and
nothing. The van will crank, you can keep here it turning the
engine over but won't fire. I've checked the fuses they are
all good. You can't hear the pump prime on acc mode. I see
no test light activity in acc mode at the pump connector.
I'm baffled. Anyone got ideas? Oh I checked fuel filter but
theven pump still didn't try to Prime in acc after removing
the filter from the situation.

You probably need to get the new fuel pump back in there. You will not hear the pump prime on accessory, but you would when the key is in the on position. You should hear the fuel pump prime, if not there is an electrical problem. Then need to check for spark, may have some bad coils or Ignition Control Module. Also if you can get a scanner on there to see if there are any codes. If so post them back here.
Through body connector under the drivers side sliding door may be corroded. It should be the forward pin, second one in (large grey wire). The pin may be corroded or burnt off.
Thanx, it was a combination of the fuel filter, and a key reset issue.
Will crank but will not crank
I' pulled a one of main fuses out of my 9 9 Pontiac Montana by accident while the vehicle was started now I do not have electric current running to my fuel pump fuel pump what could be the problem I thought it was a fuel pump and replaced it but it's not the issue
I am trying to find out why my 2004 pontiac Montana starts itself
so i have put a new fuel pump in, a new fuel filter, a new relay, and changed all of the fuses just for piece of mind. I even cleaned the plugs behind drivers seat and it still wont even fire one damn time. I'm getting real mad and ready to blow the mother freaker up. plz give me the answer to my problem.
So the best answer I have for this is cut the connector out completely. Remove the connect from the floorboard being the drivers seat. Cut the wires and splice in New wires. A soldered joint is best but if it beyond your skillet, crimp connectors are ok, just remember to use A lot of electrical tape to cover the joints. To help keep them from coroding in the future.
