Fan Blower Motor

Asked by SkywaySteve Aug 06, 2011 at 02:00 PM about the 2005 Hyundai Sonata V6 LX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The fan motor has refused to work so I am going to replace. I have read that the
location of that unit is under the dash behind the glove box. I have removed al the
screws of the glove box and looks to be loose but does not want out come out. I'm
trying not to force it or break it. Has anyone replaced the Blower Motor for AC and
heater in a 2005 Sonata?

there is a nut that holds the upper part of the latch. You have to look in a hole behind it about 4 inches forward.
