Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Hyundai sonata LX V6 I bought recently. the rear view mirror is
supposed to be auto dimming but someone cut the wires to it. can you tell me
how to go about reconnecting it? The only reason I can think someone would
do this is because it has a programmable door opener and they didn't want to
allow anyone access to they're house.

4 wires red, black, brown and green they are wrapped in electrical tape and stick out above the windshield through the header. so if I gauge the wire, continue with the same color and solder the pieces together that's a great start but I have no idea where to connect the wires into the mirror
