I have a 2004 hyundai tiburon when I try to speed up more than 80 the needle from the s pedometer get stuck on 80 but the CAR is run in more than 80 it that a chance the it could be a sensor ?

The car runs good and it shift the
transmission fine is just when the needle of
the s pedometer try to pass 80 the needle
stay on 80 Mph some times pass till 100
but that it  any answer some please I would
preciated

Wow, over 80? I believe the issue might be related to the fact that the car should not be driven past 80.
