Maintenance Scheduling

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I purchased a 2013 C300 with low miles January of this year. It had 8,600
traded off lease. It now has 15.400 but is approaching it's 4th year in service.
How do I treat the manufacturer suggested maintenance? based on year in
service or based on mileage?

It has been serviced. What I am asking is regarding the MB recommended service. Should I do it based on year in service or based on mileage. By mid-September it will be on road 4 years but will have only 15,750 miles. There is a 4 year service which includes things like brake fluid change, cabin and engine air filter etc. Should I wait for 40K to do these? That would mean the car will be on road over 6 years.
When in doubt, go with the time requirement. In the grand scheme of things underuse is nearly as hard on fluids as overuse. Filters and oil are relatively cheap to do and you can do them yourself. I have a 2006 CLK 350 that we only drive 2-3K miles a year. It gets annual service, and is noted in the maintenance book
